Bookstore Returns and Exchanges

RETURN POLICY :

Returns are easy at the Bookstore! For information on the return/exchange polices, please read below. Your receipt and the original form of payment will be needed for all returns.

TEXTBOOK RETURNS :

Textbook returns will be accepted with a register receipt up to the add/drop period of the academic semester for a full refund.
All textbooks must be returned in the original form they were purchased. New textbooks cannot be returned with highlighting, markings, bent pages, etc. All course materials, including textbooks and access cards, that were sealed when purchased must be returned sealed to return for a refund.
E-books are non-returnable.

ELECTRONIC RETURNS :

Computers are non-returnable.
All other electronic devices, including calculators, can be returned within 90 days of purchase if unused and in original packaging.
Product packaging cannot be opened or damaged.

MERCHANDISE AND GIFT RETURNS :

Clothing and gift items must be returned within 90 days of purchase.
All items must be unused, unwashed, and with tags attached.
Gift cards are non-refundable.

SHIPPING RETURN POLICY :

All returns require the customer to pay the shipping for the return.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.

EXCHANGES :

To complete an exchange please follow the below steps.

Note: For exchanges, the customer must pay the shipping to the bookstore. The bookstore will ship the exchange back for free.

Fill out the online return form.
Include a note inside your package with the following: Your full name, phone number, and e-mail address

Textbook Shipping

SHIPPING COST :

All textbook orders are charged a flat rate of $10.95. Any orders that contain nursing or biology bundles will be charged a flat rate of $19.95.

SHIPPING CUTOFF DATE :

Textbook orders will not be shipped after January 14, 2022, for the Spring Semester. This is to ensure that books are ready for students on the first day of class. If you order your books and select shipping after this date, the shipping fee will be removed from your order and you can pick them up in the Spartan Store when you arrive on campus.

REMOTE LEARNERS :

If you are a remote learning student and want your order shipped please use the contact form or email us at spartanstore@ycp.edu with your name and order number.

BACKORDERS :

Textbook backorders will be not be shipped. Instead, they will be held for pick up at the bookstore. The products that are in stock at the time of the order will be shipped within our normal shipping periods. We will contact you again when the back ordered items are ready for pick up.
